I've heard that he was 6 feet tall, and I've also heard that he was 6' 1". My guess is that he's somewhere between the two. In the episode "Love Thy Neighbor" when he is telling Lana about himself over the phone, he says that he's "6 foot 1". Then in the episode "Might Mouth", he says to Shirley when he first meets her, "All 6 foot, 180 lbs of me".

Jenilee Harrison is very tall to begin with, plus she always wore high heels. That can explain why she looked a little taller than John Ritter.

i think he's about 6 foot 1 b/c in the movie Stay Tuned in the western part of it, this guy is going to measure his coffin and he tells the guy "about 6 foot 1" because they think he's going to lose.

John is 6 feet tall. He has said so in many movies of his. He also mentioned that he was 6 ft 1. He is around that general area.
