Remember When Rodney Dangerfeild had a rap song in 1985? I just saw it on I Love The 80's.

All he did was throw out his one-liners to a disco beat. Like disco, rap encoruages dumb novelty records that make Napoleon XIV's "They're Comin' To Take Me Away, Ha-Ha!" seem like a Randy Newman song by comparison. Sorry, I can't agree. This was an unnecessary career move for Rodney. And I loved the guy.

P.S. It was from 1983.

And like just about every genre of music except maybe jazz and classical. It's not just rap and disco.
