My favorite family is definitely The Linz family (the three brothers and sister from Ohio)... They seem to be in the race just to have a blast and are not too motivated by the money!!!

I have to say the Paulo family from New York is really growing on me! After all the shouting and arguing and obnoxious behavior from the two sons, it's been great to see them bonding and learning to appreciate and respect their poor, put-upon mother. When the older son and the mom had to bunjee jump, it really brought the two together, and the Mom cried because she knew that, in spite of all the bickering, her sons did indeed love her...

Well, the Paulo family was eliminated, just when they were starting to grow on me just a bit! I sooo wanted the Lindz family to cross the finish line first... for their first time, but the Pink sisters got there first. The Weaver family totally lost all credibility, crossing the finish line and whining and crying about the others teams, calling them "classless" and saying that they were the only "Christian" team on the race. This, after they threw trash out their window at the Branson family and instructed the toll booth operator to hold the Lindz family up! Give me a break! Hopefully, the next time the Weaver's hop on the map, Phil will tell them, "I'm sorry to say you've been eliminated from the race..."

Now that the Gaugan family is gone I have started rooting for the Branson family, but I don't really care.

I'm suprised that you like the Paulo family. It was kind of nice when they were all nice during the bunjee jumping but afterwards they treated their mom the same way.

Who else was disappointed the Weaver's managed to escape elimination? All they have done is whimper, gripe, complain and act obnoxiously, then act all outraged to find out no one likes them!! Then the mother has the audacity to call the rest of the teams "classless"...
