Post this show contradicts too much

I remember watching this show during it's original run. Back then I thought it was great and now when I catch the show it seems so stupid and a waste of time. The reason I hate it now is because it contradicted it's characters. Take Screech for example, a funny guy, sure, but I thought he was supposed to be a "nerd/brainiac" how come he's always saying stupid things? And then there's that "Zack Attack" group don't even get me started! But this is only MY opinion and I'm nobody special.

Most smart people are a little weird! Screech is just like a friend i got he maybe book smart but not so street smart. example if i said gullible isn't in the dictionary he would believe me. but if i said pi is 3.14159265358979323846264338327950287 ect... he would tell me i was wrong and that it is 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288 ect...
get the hint

I would agree. In most ways, Screech was a very smart kid, even a chess whiz. But he just said some dumb things everty once in awhile. Also, MtM fan, what beef do you have with the Zack Attack? I think that was one of the best episodes of the original series. What's contradictory about it?

The show's supposed to be about high school students. I just didn't like the whole idea of them starting a band. BTW, how many years were they in high school?!?!?I seen them graduate and then they come back without Kelly and Jesse and bring Tori.

I agree totally MtM!!! The show is so incredibly inane and ridiculous. Another weird thing you forgot was that for one episode suddenly Zack and Lisa are dating, and then they never mention it again!! What the hell was that?? Also how can students make fun of the principal to his face and get away with it....and then they just all hang out in his office like buddies. Not to mention their 45 minute-long passing periods!!

Who in the world writes this show??
And then the 2 graduations thing was just terrible!

*tosses in 2 cents* Here is my input

Did the gang ever do any school work??? The SAT episode doesn't count. I'm a senior in high school and we have to work our ass off everyday. I don't see them doing any school work-

Like the person said above- you don't make fun of the principal and then spend an hour in his office just hanging around. I can tell you any NORMAL high school student doesn't want to say hello to the principal, much less spend an hour in his office hanging around.

Sorry if I upset anybody.

Wouldn't hanging with the principal lead to favoratism? I don't think Zack and the gang were even human. They did episodes about being psychic ,wheelchair basketball, and even aliens but yet there was never a sex episode to my knowledge. ( Dont think Im perverted or anything but come on...it was a teen show! They already tackled issues about taking pills what about another teen issue?)

What i didn't get was the college years! i have heard of coed dorms but never have i heard of both boys and girls being in suite together that is just crap! In a coed dorm if u are caught on the same floor as the opposite sex after a certain time u get suspended! And then they all just sat around campus doing nothing, true there was a couple of episodes where they were actually in a class but there was never any actual work! and then the whole thing with Kelly working in the health center, which would be fine except they seemed to have her doing things that a doctor or a nurse should be doing, not the head orderly or what ever she was!

And another thing, Kelly would have been thrown out of college when she was dating Professor Lasky. That's when i stopped watching the college series, when teachers go out with students! Come on now!

Guys, it's a television show. A *sitcom.* It was supposed to be this way. I LOVE this show sooo much. It's refreshing and funny and it always puts me in a good mood. And in college, you're allowed to date your professor. It happens. That's my input.
