Well, for those of you who couldn't find that particular thread, that episode was actually a pilot for a proposed Bill Daily series to have been called "THE COUNCILMAN", about "Pete" Peterson's bumbling efforts to serve the community, and his two aides who have to keep an eye on him AND out of trouble. It didn't sell, but fortunately, Bill wound up on "THE BOB NEWHART SHOW" instead!
