Music 1984 was a fabulous year for music!

1984 was one of the best years for the music industry.So many great albums came out that year.Not to mention numerous hit songs.

How are you going to talk about music in 1984, list a bunch of songs and not mention the person who had that year's #1 single and an album that stayed at #1 from August '84 til the end of the year? How are you going to do that?!?

There were alot of classic albums in 1984 including Springsteen's Born in the USA, Rush's Grace Under Pressure, Van Halen's 1984, Cyndi Lauper's She's So Unusual, Madonna's Like A Virgin and Chicago's Chicago 17.

I forgot about New Edition's self titled album came out in 1984 that has the songs Cool It Now, Mr Telephone Man, My Secret, Hide & Seek, Delicious, Lost In Love.

Aah! M+M "Cooling the Medium." I love Martha and the Muffins. They didn't do diddly in the States. It's too bad. Their videos get played on VH1 Classic once in a blue moon. I always liked Rough Trade also.
