New York rapper Cam'ron was shot and wounded during a botched carjacking near a waterfront night spot, his manager said Sunday.

The artist, who was recovering at Howard University Hospital, had stopped at a traffic light shortly after midnight when a man attempted to steal his Lamborghini, said his manager, Big Joe.

When Cam'ron refused to give up the car and attempted to drive away, the gunman fired a single shot that passed through both of Cam'ron's arms, said Lynn Hobson, a spokeswoman for his label, Diplomat Records.

When he almost got carjacked, he was leaving the club late at night. He shouldn't have been at the club anyway in the ghetto in Washington DC. He should've gave up his car because life is more important than material things. Camron is a ignorant rapper anyway & he can't rap. I used to like him but he sucks now. I can't stand his group The Diplomats. Juelz Santana & Jim Jones are horrible rappers.

Camron was on the front page of the newspaper here recently with big bold letters over a picture of him standing in front of his car saying who shot Camron. I can't believe they did a front page big article about this clown. He's a ignorant basta*d. He won't even help Washington DC police try to find the person who shot him because he says he's not a snitch. How is a person a snitch for pointing out a person in a lineup who shot at you? He's so dumb. If he would've stayed his ass at the hotel instead of leaving from a club late at night in a bad neighborhood, he wouldn't have gotten shot. These rappers be killin me with these images that they have to maintain so ignorant nig*as who are fans of their music won't think they're soft. This is exactly why so many rappers have been locked up and been shot at because they won't keep their asses outta the ghetto and away from ignorant nig*as. This is why 2Pac, Freaky Tah of Lost Boys, Big L, The Notorious Big aren't here today. This is why Shyne is locked up right now. Shyne wants to blame Puff Daddy for the situation he's in but Shyne put himself in his situation because he should've kept his ass at home instead of going to a club where you know there's gonna be a lot of ignorant nig*as and jealous people there.
