Default Rosie O'Donell in last season???

I wonder why a new character was added so late in the series? I mean the show was never a HIT so it wasn't like they were trying to maintain success-lol How was the show when Rosie was added? Unwatchable??

Are you sure you watched Gimme A Break?
It WAS a hit
Rosie was added to bring the ratings up and it did not work

I enjoyed the episodes with Rosie in them. The episode when Nell was stuck out on the fire escape and Maggie was trying to inch her way down the fire escape to help Nell out. That always cracked me up. I think I'm the only person who liked the New York episodes, even though the finale episode sucked but they couldn't help it.

NY was good, but the girls were gone. The Glenlawn house was gone. Simpson was gone. I missed them. Episodes were fun with Joey and Matty, but too childish. Episodes with Nell and Addy were more boring, sich as when Nell was her boss, and the last episode with Addy sick and Nell going to her room a lot while Mama Maybell had her date over. The last episode was horrible, which really makes the final season bad.

My favorite episode was Save the Church, which was the 3rd last episode to air. However, it lacked Addy. A big empty chuch, just for Joey and Nell? Come on! The episode was great, but it needed Addy and Matty in it. This would have been a better episode if they included them, and aired it as the last episode of the season, since Nell and her mother were at good terms, finally. Int he last episode, they were okay, until Nell started up with her date.

Also, the Christmas episode was fun, and well-written.

Those 2 were my favorite of the season.
