Sad My grandfather died today

When I first learned about it it just hit me hard. He was at a reunion in Albequrque, Mexico and someone offered to give him a ride to a hotel. The guy driving ran a red light (or stoplight, I don't know which) collided with another car and both of them died. I am so pissed off at that guy who was driving. Everybody in my family has been affected by it, especially my grandmother. I feel so sorry for her. My father's leaving for Northern California tomorrow morning.

Let this be a warning to all drivers: Obey the traffic laws. This person didn't and not only did it cost him his life but it also killed my grandfather. Never assume that this cannot or will not happen to you. Fortunately I never felt that way but it is very unfortunate that this still happened.

Brian, I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather, too, and that he died in such a senseless way that could have been avoided. Please accept my condolences.

Sorry to hear about your grandfather man. Unfortanutely, all it takes is one idiot to run a red light or stop sign and multiple lives can be taken. Normally, I'd say get revenge but the other guy died. It just wouldn't be right for your grandpa to die and the other guy to walk away from it.

I'm sorry, Brian. It really should not happened. Unfortunately, there will always be idiots in this world who don't obey laws. Poop to them.

I have a similar story. When I was a high school junior in 2001, a very good friend of mine was at a stoplight. The light on her side had just turned green, so she was driving through it and some ******* high school freshman guy ran the red light on his side and he SLAMMED into her. He slammed into her so hard, it sent her car spinning and she hit a street sign. Fortunately, she only walked away with bruises and scrapes...She was one of the lucky ones, and the guy that hit her got into MAJOR trouble. She was extremely lucky to survive the accident...her car got totalled pretty badly.

Ohhhhh, Brian. I am sooooo sorry to hear about this. All of my sympathies go out to your grandfather. So, did this incident happen IN Albuquerque? I am from Abq, but I do not recall hearing about this incident. Yes, this is WHY I hate when people do NOT follow the rules!! Duh... they are THERE for a reason, people! We have such STUPID drivers. Drivers SUCK here. Arghh... I'm sooo sorry on behalf of my stupid fellow city drivers.
