Agreed! However, remember some of those ugly women Grady and Fred would date from time to time! Like the Statler sisters, and the one who told Fred "I picked you up!?!!, you picked me up!".

I still think the ugliest was Norma Miller as Jackie, and Dolly.

I know, That was a ODD Fred Sanford Moment. Very Confusing Like you said, he always called a woman ugly if she was and then he is attracted to a man in Drag????

Fred should have went into his secret draw a picked up a pair of glasses. He had like a hundred of them in there.
Fred: "What's that that i smell?"
Mrs. Wallace (Hacker): "Oh, that must be my shampoo."

Yeah - that was when the show was getting *really* marginal. Most of the material seemed forced and, for the most part, Fred's humor just wasn't there anymore. (except that "White Owl" crack - that was definitely funny)
