Post About Kelly...Please Read...

Hey everyone. Even though I like "The Facts of Life" the best, I think "Saved By the Bell" is great too. But I have one question that really bothers me. When the gang gets older, Kelly seems to dissappear before everyone else. Where does she go and why does she leave? Please respond!

Both she and Jessie do. In 1992 they were both gone and Leanna Creel(from a twin set) plays Tori Scott. NBC shot the graduation ep in 1991 and then shot new episodes in 92'. What is going on?

Hello,

The problem was that Tiffani-Amber Thiessen (Kelly) and Elizabeth Berkley's (Jessie) contracts were up, and instead of renewing them, they wanted to, I guess, move up in their careers. So, what the writers and producers did was hire a replacement character Leana Creel (Tori) in order to fill that missing season. What they also did was film the last season with the original gang first, then they filmed the season with Tori second. But they aired it differently, as we saw the Tori season first then the original gang second which lead to the graduation.
I hope I have helped!
SBTB FOREVER,
Erika

but i thought it was SOOO weird that they had a graduation AND THEN they kept going on in their high school career... and you knew that they were older cuz lisa was looking a lot older AND Zack and Slater did too.. but for some reason i liked this season when Tori was there becuase they seemed to have more fun or somethign.. but i liked when they had teh contest to see who got the money for the sports... the guys or the girls and they had the contests and the guys put a fake oven knob on.. i still LOVE that one.. and my ALL TIME favorite episode EVER is the one at the mystery mansion.. that is the BEST ep ever made! I LOVE mysteries!! and I never knew that sooo many other FOL fans also liked saved by the bell!

me, BlairW_4, and ThomasE
cool!! ROCK ON!!

Question

You have to be kidding me. Where did you guys get the information about the graduation episode being filmed in '91? That's just bogus. Kelly and Jessie both left with no explanation, and Torie came in. After a while, Torie left with no explanation, and Kelly and Jessie returned. Then they filmed those last few episodes where the gang had the senior prom w/ a country music theme and of course the graduation.

Those shows couldn't have been filmed in '91, because the cast looked too old at that point in '93. They do not look like they did in '91. I'd really like to get to the bottom of this. I've never heard about them filming the last episodes then saving them for later after they film a new season. That would be crazy!

Nichole's Boy. You're talking to a person who knows his stuff. The six kids taped their senior year in 1991 and those eps were no aired till the fall of 92'. They alternated with the episodes with Tori and saved the graduation episode for may 22, 1993 Saturday evening then aired the Pilot for the college years.

Trust me. Kelly and Jessie's senior year was filmed in 91'. Check out the closing credits. The year the eps. were made are shown.

Yea, ThomasE is right. They filmed the Tori episodes in '92 and the full cast graduation episodes, prom, etc in '91.

You mean they filmed a year and a half a head of when the show actually aired? That's unusual isn't it? I remember they graduated in 93 like I did. So that's how I remember their graduation date.
