Getting Davy Jones-dvd glitch - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

In the scene where Marcia tries to call the hotel, there is a glitch on the dvd. Watch Jan....the picture stutters. I checked this against an old video tape, and while there is some light print damage, it doesn't do this. It's almost as if they repeated a frame or two. Can someone check tapes of this to confirm? Thanks.

Hi Eric,

Haven't checked my DVD. However, if others notice the same glitch, it could be an issue with the transfer itself. You also mentioned some light print damage on your video taped copy. Maybe the DNR (i.e Digital Noise Reduction) magnified this damage from the original transfer.
