Fred and Lamont in traffic court, with the actor who played "Huggy Bear" as Fred's Lawyer, said he, and/or tailor, said the State of California. Also had the controversial "Tarzan" reference in court, very cutting edge.

I liked the show where Lamont tried to return to his African Heritage, but learned that there was a lot more than taking a new name and wearing exotic clothes. He was reminded that he should have more regard for his father as well as respect.

Thumbs up

My personal favorite is "We We Robbed"! I believe it was on during the first series. I liked the part when the white cop whould ask Fred a question and he would have to look at the black cop and the black cop would break it down so Fred could understand. Classic stuff. Anybody remember this episode?

I also wote for the one where Lamont became Kaloonda and wore a dashiki and Fred thought it was a dress. Lamont and Fred had their yelling match in the next room and after the argument ended they both return smiling. They did that joke at least one other time on another episode. Rollo was in this episode but I don't remember him having any lines.

I have to go for the Lamont's african heritage episode myself.

Another all time favorite was when Lamont got into that barfight with that Michael Clark Duncan lookalike, then he started taking judo lessons. His instructor was funny too.

I have a lot of favorite episodes so just bear with me.

~ The episode where Lamont is discovering his African heritage.

~Lamont and Rollo try out for a movie (which it turns out to be a porno movie) and Fred shows up and all 3 get arrested.

~The episode where one of Fred's relatives dies and supposedly leaves money for Fred. Fred and Lamont fly to St. Louis to collect the money and Fred is embarassing the hell out of Lamont on the air plane. I swear I was Roflmao at that episode.

I have a few favs too!
In no particular order
A). The one when Big Money Grip comes to town saying he's Lamont's father. The last 15 minutes with Fred and Esther are classic!
B). The one where Fred thinks Lamont's dating his half-sister. The gal who played Wilona from Good Times is on this one.
C). The Traffic Court Episode.
D). When Fred returns from St. Louis. This was the episode after Red Foxx ended his contract holdout. The 1st 15 minutes are classic.

My favorite is when Lamont and Fred have an old rifle and it fires and they think they shot Goldstein from across the street, turns out Goldstein was out of town. I also like the gong show episodes.
And when Fred says "don't like bottle beer make me burp" Took some champagne and some ripple and made champipple.

My favorites include the time that Fred & Lamont go camping. "Get your father out of these woods..."
Another good one is when Julio's goat Chico is stolen & Fred is afraid to identify the crooks.
Also the one where Lamont buys tyhe coffins.

All in all, i really can't think of a bad episode, even the ones with Grady are funny.

Two of my favorites are:
1)The episode where Lamont buys Fred the pool table &
2)The show where Fred donates his Blind Mellow Jelly records to the library, then when he finds out how much they were worth, he gets them back by with the help of Blind Mellow Jelly's "son", Bubba or "Pot Belly". A very funny episode.
