I am very surprised Living With Fran was put on hiatus. What I Like About You's ratings are far worse.

It wasn't technically cancelled, and In the futon Critic's article it said it will most likely return next year (Im guessing mid season to go along with the other new sitcom) so... Nothing is known for sure, The WB has never dominated in the comedy department anyways so canceling fran is rediculous

Technically, BLUE COLLAR TV is a variety show, not a sit-com, since it is
comprised of sketches and monologues (and occasionally a song by a special
guest star).

I read somewere they both had a 13 episode order so they put both shows hiatus and return Feb. or March to continue their run.
