Question Is Sanford and Son ever coming back on TV Land?

Does anyone know the answer to this? I would really like to see them again. Thanks....

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE IT AGAIN, because Fred Sanford is funny, but, I never heard anything, whatsoever, about it coming back, since it went off last fall

I'am sorry to say that TV land won't be showing Sanford and Son anymore. They signed a contract to show it for a certain amount of years, and time is up. It's the same thing with Happy Days and Newhart.

They have to pay to sign these contracts! They spent like 3 million dollars to put on Three's Company for 7 years! I mean it costs them a fourtune to keep these shows running.

Three's Company is 25 million for 7 years...that's nothing, Cheers was bought for 75 million!

Those 2 are the highest in N@N.

I think that Sanford and Son should be on TNN or something.

Tons of shows should be on TNN if N@N/TVL has dropped them and they still have rights.
Perfect Strangers, Head of the Class, ALF, 227, Silver Spoons all fit since TNN is looking for 80's and 90's shows.

I don't think they even have Sanford anymore.

Exclamation

Keep e-mailing and snail mailing TV Land...after all, they did end up renewing the contract for Leave it to Beaver after it expired.

Sanford and Son does air in the Chicago area on WPWR-TV, channel 50 at 1:00am. That station has dropped it and brought it back plenty of times and keeps doing so.....and that is a local station.

Sanford & Son also airs on WKFT-TV Channel 40 in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area at 5:30PM weekdays. It's been on for the last few months.
