I always loved it when Aunt Esther would call Fred a fish eyed fool. She is a very funny actress.

"Hey you big dummy"! It would always bust me up when Fred would say that. Or when he wanted to fight and would yell "Put em up"! And throw his arms in the air. And you cant forget the "Elizbeth this is the big one. I'm comming to join you honey!"

When fred just flat out says "shut up dummy" to Lamont. It is pretty rare , but when I hear that I can't stop laughing!

Can any of you tell me what episodes Fred says "shut up dummy" to lamont?

Let's see how much you know.

Thanks, Jeff

Any one of Fred's variations of saying, "How would you like one across your lip!" and any of his variations of calling Lamont or anyone else a dummy makes me crack up every time.

Well - one immediately jumps to mind - in the Japanese restaurant ep:

Fred: Ah-Choo, you're a good cook.

Lamont: You know, that's the first time I've ever heard you give anyone an honest compliment, pop.

Fred: Shut up dummy.

I like that one that was already posted about you have asketh and been turndowneth. That was hilarious!

I love any cracks that Fred makes about Esther. The one I really like is when he is drunk after overhearing Lamont telling Grady that he ran the place just as good as he did.

He looks over at Esther and says, "Why do you keep following me horsey?"

And when he thinks Lena Horne is at the door and it's really Esther. She tells him, "Hello, sucker." Fred comes back and says, "There must some mistake because this is not my Lena, this is somebody's hyena."

Default Couple of good ones tonight...

...in the "Tower Power" ep.

Fred: Esther, every time I look at you, it makes me wish birth control was retroactive.

---

Lamont: Pop, do you have $25?
Fred: Do mice bark?

When Woodrow makes a comment that Esther doesn't approve of
while they are at Fred's:

Esther: "Woodrow, you came here with teeth.............do you want
to leave with teeth?"

To this day, it's hilarious. LaWanda's facial is absolutely
CLASSIC.

This was an episode from season 5 where Fred and Aunt Esther were locked up in chinese wristlocks thanks to Grady's magic trick. They were eating in the kitchen and they had to share a corn on the cob.

Aunt Esther: I would like some butter on my end.
Fred: Well what you want on the corn?
