I just thought I'd let all you Cosby fans know that Keshia Knight Pulliam is starring in a movie that's playing in theatres right now. The movie is called The Gospel, and you can watch a trailer, and other clips from the film at this address: http://movies.vidnet.com/player/2882...el_trailer.php. You can also read Roger Ebert's thumbs up review of the movie at this address:http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/...IEWS/510070301. I want to warn everyone that his review has spoilers, so if you want to see this film without knowing too much of the story, you probably shouldn't read his review. Anyway, this film has a limited release, so if you want to go and see it in the theatres, you should probably do it soon, because it probably won't be around for two long. Here's a short synopsis of the movie:
A young singer turns his back on God and his father’s church when tragedy strikes. He returns years later to find the once powerful congregation in disarray. With his childhood nemesis creating a “new vision” for the church, he is forced to deal with family turmoil, career suicide and relationship issues that send him on a collision course with redemption or destruction. |
