Too many times, Irene. One time, I went into Subway, and it was a customer being waited on, and another worker was doing who knows what, and obviously I am standing here waiting to get some service. I got ignored for 5 minutes. It was this black dude behind me, and he said that the workers were being racist, because me and him were the only black customers in there. Whether that was the reason or not, the service was bad. The employees didn't even say, "I'll be right with you."

Another time I went into McDonald's. I entered, and soon as I did, a crew leader(she had the shirt that said so) saw me and said, "Dang!" She had to take my order and didn't want to. Her and the other workers were playing around and they all wanted to "chill" After I got my order, other customers came in and I heard her say, "i'm not going to be able to eat sh*it!" if I wasn't hungry that day, I would have told the manager on her ass!

You know Kool, I have had that experience, especially with fast food employees, that people just don't seem to want to wait on you. They give a look and their demeanor is like telling you "What the hell do you want!" Whenever I have been treated rudely, I always tell the manager. It works. Never let anyone treat u like that. You are too cool Kool. Just like here, if someone steps outta line, you report them.

When I was working at a store, I'll admit it I was rude sometimes. I only was when a customer would ask stupid questions. Such as "What aisle is your peanut butter on?" Um the aisle that says peanut butter on the sign. Or after we'd have a storm, "Why are the carts wet?" Um, because customers are lazy and don't bother to bring them back where they belong, and also because you're shopping in the rain.

When I was a teen-ager I worked at a fast food establishment, and yes, I was rude at the customers and vice versa, nowadays, I will not tolerant any kind of disrespect towards me or others. I actually had someone fired because this person was impolite to my mother and myself.

Riiiiiiight on!!!!!! They are dumb for asking dumb questions like that. What do they expect? someone to dry the carts??? Ha!

To 70's dream: I hear that...I know what you mean. I had worked as a night manager at a fast food restaurant...man, some people are just rude. I didn't treat anyone rude. But when someone was rude to me, I would make sure I had the last word.

I've never been but my parents were.

A few years ago they were shopping at Best Buy and the employees there were socializing and stuff while not helping them. They refuse to shop there unless there is something I want to buy.

One time abt 15 years ago while shopping at the grocery store, i had 12 items and went in the 10 items or less lane. The cashier (a man) proceeded to tell me that this time he will take me in his line but next time I should not come in this line with more than 10 items. I had what was 10 items, i had purchased these three 6-pack of sodas and he was counting them as three individual items...my mistake i guess, still no reason to be rude. I even turned to the lady behind me thinking she would defend me or agree with my assumption and she just made this disgusting look on her face like she was pissed at me too...I made it clear to the cashier he made his point, but he didn't need to be rude with me abt it. It was a misunderstanding on my part. I proceeded to tell the manager who then went over to the cashier and began telling him not to be rude and never to tell a customer abt the 10 items rule when the customer has gone over the limit with a few items. It would be different if they had a cart of items. I swear, I never felt sooooo good. Now, to this day, whenever I see that cashier (yes, he still works there) I never go in his line. I would rather wait in a long-ass line then go thru his line again.
