Has anyone ever bought a TV show on DVD and the airdates was on the episode guide? I bought Fresh Prince season 2 today and that was the first time that I ever seen listed airdates on a DVD episode guide. That would be very helpful if that was the case with all the shows on DVD because I wouldn;t have to go to Tv.com

You must not buy alot of tv-dvds if that's the first time you've seen airdates. They list airdates almost all the time. Sony may not do it on comedy stuff like Good Times or Soap, but they list airdates for shows like T.J. Hooker and Hart To Hart. I have a lot of sets that include airdate listings. |

^ I have to agree with Vashti. Over half of my sets (at least) have episode airdates.

The Gilmore Girls sets always comes with a booklet that includes the original airdates and episode descriptions.
A lot of the time, if you look VERY carefully at the back of a DVD set, it will have a small note, something like this: Episodes listed in airdate order |

I lied (unintentionally). I could have sworn the Sony drama dvds listed airdates, but I just checked Hooker and Hart again and they don't have it.
