Florida statement after james had a chance at a higher paying job. Shouldn;t have been Goodbye Oatmeal, Hello Bacon, Eggs, and Hotcakes"?-lol

I thought that was a very funny line. I liked it just as much as when he would bring up Kool-Aid. Cream of Wheat is not that good, so I would want bacon and eggs and hotcakes too.

It was a funny line the the way she delivered it, but I agree with you. Bacon and eggs is much more fancy than cream of wheat.

Y'all are forgetting one VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL....Cream of Wheat had a BLACK MAN on the box... that's what made it better than bacon and eggs.

Yes, but Aunt Jemima pancakes and Mrs. Butterworth syrup were also black, so they could've gone in that direction as well.

did Aunt Jemima have the pancake mixes in the 70's I thought that was later. I know they had the waffle mixes so maybe they did.
