Default As much as she joked, how old did you think Willona was?

First of all, I'm not talking about Janet Du'Bois age. Not her. We know her age in real life. But the Willona Woods character's age. So please don't go to sites pulling up her DOB The reason I ask is because she always mentions how young she is or and James and Florida always some kind of weird smirk as if to say, "Stop pulling our leg Willona". "We know how old you are".

At first I was thinking maybe 42. But it dawned on me. During the episode where James thought he had that job, he was 41 and I don't think they would've made her older than James. So my guess would be 39. Florida's age was never revealed either. As a matter of fact, she never hinted at an age, so it was hard to tell. But how could Willona and her be best friends. She even remembered guys that Florida dated when she was single.

That's crazy. I'm 38 years old and you mean to tell me that my best friend is 20.

Willona seems to be around 40ish. There is a significant age difference between her and Florida. Looking at them together it looks like there is about a ten year difference in their age. Obviously Florida is significantly older than Willona. Look at that friendship there is a deep bond between them.

Nope, I got it, Willona was 41 in the first season. She was the same age as James, and Flo was 38.......hence the episodes.....

Too Old Blues - At the interview it was said James was 41.

Sex and the Evans - Flo said James was 3 years older than her.

A Real Cool Job - Flo said Willona was exactly the same age as James.

Ain't this fun solving unsolved and unreal mysteries. LOL

It states that Ms Du Bois was born in August of 1938; so when Good Times debut in February of 1974..She was 35 years old..then when the program ended the summer of 1979, she was 40 going on 41. So, you do the math on the remaining seasons...

* There are other sites that mentioned that Ja' Net was born in 1945, but I find it quite hard to believe that she was ONLY 28 years old during the first season of Good Times.

Hmmmm, so that would make Willona born in the year of 1930; she was 19 years old when she went to her prom?
