Just a little note regarding when they show the TV Guide on different episodes. Anyone notice it doesn't say TV Guide, it says TV Digest.

I don;t ever recall seeing a TV Guide in a Good Times episode. What episode was the Tv Guide in? I only remember seeing Ebony Magazine, Jet Magazine, and Newsweek

When the Evans' were going to be evicted. The tag scene the family is sitting around the living room and Michael is holding a TV Digest, it's a TV Guide, but they put their own label on there. Michael's hand was holding it in such a way, you couldn't see the pic on the mag. But there it was clear as day, TV Digest. He was talking abt wanting to see a movie with AN ALL BLACK CAST.

Oh OK. But that wasn't TV GUIDE that probably was a make believe or a newspaper version.

I seen the episode and there it was, it was a TV Guide with a different label on there. It had that actor, God, what's his name? He was a big guy, bald, smoked a cigar, had a moustache, I think his name is William Conrad. What show did he do?

I think he was on "Jake and the Fat Man" in the 80s. In the 70s I believe he had his own cop show called "Cannon" or something.
