Thanks Sasette for the news. I'm glad they are continuing to release the only best Superman series on DVD. I can't wait until season three is released. That is my favorite season because of the wedding saga, which I found to be entertaining.

Teri got to play a different type of character which I think was the best part of it all. You can really feel sorry for her when she is the clone and learns she is going to die soon. That was the best acting from Teri in the show IMO. And I always liked John as Lex, so it was great to see him return and at the best time too when Lois and Clark are to marry. I think it was wrote perfectly.

Season two is my least favorite. I only like a few episodes like the first episode when Lex's ex wife creates a clone of Lois so she can ruin her. The main reason why I can't stand season two is because of Justin taking over Jimmy Olsen. He didn't get into the part right away like Michael Landes did.

I picked up season one, but that's where I'm stopping. It wasn't the same after that first season. With the departure of Deborah Joy Levine, the series' creator and John Shea's departure from the cast, the show never measured up to that great first season.

Not to mention that they ruined Teri's hair!!

It wasn't bad, but it was missing the fun and intrigue of the first season. A lot of the drama was gone because there was no conflict between Supes and Lex. I did like, however, that Lex was revived by Denise Crosby, who'd know a thing or two about coming back from the dead.

I was glad that they only kept Lex for one season. When shows keep one bad guy throughout the whole show, it tends to get stale a lot quicker. That's one of the reasons why I never got into Buffy's spin off Angel. That is a horrible show. Always worrying about that damn law firm. I'm glad L&C wasn't like that with Lex. In the last three seasons of L&C, they had a number of good guest stars for their new villains. Shelly Long (which I consider the best), Sherman Hemsley, Lane Davies, Peter Boyle, Jonathan Frakes, Delta Burke, and more that I can't think of. That's why I consider this the best Superman show yet.

Good point. But they never came up with another villain or villains who could rival him. Perhaps they could have had Lex as a recurring character...maybe on seven or eight episodes per season. Oh well, I guess we'll never know...

January 17th baby! I'm soooo excited! I've already preordered it as a little Christmas present for myself. lol A little over a month to go. I can't wait. This season is probably my favorite, however I did like the original Jimmy better...but I love how Lois & Clark develop into a couple in this season...I'm LOVIN it!

Great review! I am reading that they're gonna try to get Teri to do commentary for Season 3 for "It's a Small World After All" since she wrote that episode. Let's cross our fingers that happens
