Default Original 16MM Film at Ebay

I have every episode on DVD and VHS, the next step is the original film, maybe one day

I've seen those on EBay and would really love to have one, but boy are they pricey! I haven't been able to find a 16 mm projector in years and years.

I'm so tempted to get one just to see if what we have on DVD are actually the original uncut episodes and not just first generation syndicated ones.

my Grandpa has a projector, I am not sure if its 16MM or 32MM so it would be real easy for me if its 16MM. That hard part is getting the $50.00.

Why do you need a 16mm print to tell you this? The running time of the episode should be all you need. It has been established that the DVDs are the unedited versions.

A 35mm projector is what movie theaters have and it would be very large. It is probably a 16mm or 8mm.

For some reason, Ph1l keeps thinking the episodes are edited. How are they edited? They are not edited.

A great source for 16mm projectors is your local city & county schools surplus auctions. You can probably get one for less than $20.00. You might also try any Goodwill or Salvation Army Thrift Store. It will also save a huge shipping fee. I've sold 2 on Ebay & it cost 30.00-40.00 to ship one.

Back in the 70s (and before) 8mm films were quite popular. A company called Blackhawk sold a ton of prints of everything from Laurel and Hardy shorts to abbreviated versions of full length films. If your grandfather has any of these, ask him to play them for you. They're great fun.

Great idea from redrocker on how to get a 16mm projector. I've never gotten into that hobby largely because of the expense of not only buying the prints but caring and storing them. Vinegar syndrome is not cool.
