great stuff i will also add he was a writer and bit player on snl from jan 1988 until may of 1991 and returned to host snl on march 10 2001. also he was origanlly only supposed to be the producer and head writer on late night after david letterman left but after looking and looking at hosting candidates for months including such names as drew carey and jon stewart lorne michales and his staff gave him the job
