Wink I OWN IT(got it for christmas last year)!! LOL

I do own Come And Knock On Our Door by Chris Mann!!! Let me just say some of the cutest and funniest pictures and quotes of John's are in this very book. One of my favorite quotes by John is the following:

John On the character of Jack Tripper:
"I basically thought of my character as a seventeen- year- old kid on graduation night in Disneyland. That kind of energy that I had with all of my friends after we graduated from high school. I was student body president of Hollywood High, and I ran unopposed. I loved my final year in high school. Nothing I have ever had with Three's Company has even touched what it was like to walk down the campus of Hollywood High being president of the school. I had such a political machine. We graduated from the Hollywood Bowl and we were headed for Disneyland...there was an energy, without any alcohol or drugs- it was so pure, so sexy, so switched on, so filled with physical activity and screaming laughter rock 'n' roll that it was infectious. So that was the kind of energy I approached Three's Company with. I was a seventeen-year-old virgin at Disneyland on graduation night."

Is that not sooooooo funny!?!... HILARIOUS!!!!! I LOVE YOU JOHN!!

I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints in the snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle Autumn's rain,
When you awaken in the mornings hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die

I know... isn't that hilarious!?! My mom ordered it for me off of Amazon because it was on my christmas list last year, it was basically the only thing I wanted... LOL. At the time she ordered it, it was only like $15 dollars, which is a pretty good deal. I have seen it at a bookstore called Borders too, but it is cheaper at Amazon. Now of course the prices could have changed a little since last year, but hey,it is worth a look right!! Give it a shot!!

That is a cute quote Here are some tidbits I remember that may be of interest to you:

1.) The girl who played the nude model in "Jack Looks for a Job" ( Season 2 ) had a major crush on John Ritter during the taping of that episode. I think it also mentions that she actually WAS topless ( or maybe fully nude?) for that scene but we ( the viewers) couldn't see it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I got out of that section.

2.) Joyce Dewitt loved foot massages so much that Suzanne Somers often gave them to her during rehearsals. If you notice, she does this in some episodes too.

3.) Suzanne's trademark snort happened on accident and the producers liked it so much, they left it in.

4.) Audra Lindley wore platform shoes on the show to appear taller than Norman Fell. She also wears a wig ( her natural blonde hair looks really nice on her....I saw it once). I also remember her saying that she felt like she was married to Norman in real life because they were such good friends and worked so well together.

5.) As you may know, the Beatles poster hanging in Jack's room is actually John's personal poster from his house....he loved the Beatles so much that he insisted it be on the set

6.) Joyce was quoted as saying she and John had an unspoken chemistry and often needed no words to communicate

7.) John admitted to having a big crush on Mary Tyler Moore in his teenaged years.

If I can think of more, I'll definately add them

From the table of contents page to the very last page.. it is like 315 pages!!!!!!!! All of them are filled with tidbits and just fascinating stuff that you want to read over and over again!! It is a must have for the three's company fan!!! They have a tribute for Audra Lindley( they don't have one for Norman Fell, as it was published before he passed away) so that is really sweet. The very last thing is the lyrics to the theme song(like we really need lyrics, who doesn't know how it goes?... LOL). It is a really great book that I am proud to say that i own. Get it when ya can... it is awesome!!

I've seen a bunch on eBay for very cheap. If you keep an eye out, you can find one for as cheap as $5, brand new.

I do own the book and it is excellent. I actually did a book report on it for school two years ago. It was the best one I ever did. Got an A+. It gives a lot of interesting information about the show and its cast. If you really are a true fan of the show this is the book to get. You will learn lots of new things.
