Thats a tricky question to answer TJ.I have quite a few favourites.I like the ones where she's hires Roland the troll to spy on Harvey and the one where she wakes up her aunt Dorma who then sends poppies to the Spellmans making them sleepy. The other two I like are the ones where Hilda and Zelda are send chain letters and get cursed and the one where Sabrina has her own doco soap tv show. But all the Sabrina's episodes are great.

My favorite episode is when Hilda and Zelda make and instant boyfriend or something. I haven't seen it in ages, though

Question

That's kinda hard to say because if you are a total Sabrina freak (like me) you would like 99 epasodes out of 100.

mine is one of the last episodes i watched. it's the one where Sabrina goes, "You're having a dream!" I can't remember which one it is, though.

Talking Favorite Episode

This is a really tough question, since only a few episodes of Sabrina have aired that I disliked. I would have to say that "Silent Movie" was one of the episodes that made me laugh the hardest, so I guess you can say it's one of my favorites. Besides this episode, many of my other favorites also come from the Third Season (such as "The Big Sleep" and "The Long and Winding Shortcut") as well as the Second Season (especially "Disneyworld"), most of the Halloween and Christmas themed episodes, and many of the episodes that aired in the past 2 seasons. So, in short, I believe nearly every episode has some aspects that I like about, so it's really too hard for me to deem only 1 episode as my favorite.

Oh, god! They're all great!

Well, I loved Soul Mates, just because the end was so perfect, and it was a pretty good episode overall. I loved Silent Movie and To Tell A Mortal, and First Kiss was so sweet. No One Knows Libby Like Sabrina Knows Libby, Five Easy Pieces Of Libby, Suspicious Minds, Super Hero, Love In Bloom, She's Baaack!, House Of Pi's, Murder On Halloween Express, Thin Ice, A Birthday Witch, Spellmanian Slip...... do you have enough?

Lets see, there are definantly a lot that I loved but since I just saw, "Spellmanian Slip" and I absolutely loved it, I would say that's one. I also never got to see the last two but they are airing tomorrow on the WB here so I will definantly watch it and I can tell I will enjoy those because of my Sabrina/Harvey love.

"Silent Movie" was a very funny episode, and it should have received at least an Emmy nomination for its seamless special effects. The "man-dough" episode from the first season was clever (I think Beth Broderick once said that was her favorite episode).

I always liked the one from the third season where Sabrina infuses Harvey with too much ambition. (In the "B" plot, the aunts switched personalities, which was intriguing in that Beth was originally cast as Hilda before she decided the Zelda role was more her speed; I'm sure Caroline Rhea thanks her every time she sees a residual check.) Very well written, with all sorts of nice gags.

Yeah, Beth did say that was her fave episode.

I read about Beth going for Hilda first a few years ago, and frankly I cant imagine her as Hilda

If you want some sort of idea how Beth might have played Hilda, try to find episodes of a short-lived nineties CBS sitcom called "The Five Mrs. Buchanans." Beth played a flirtatious, man-crazy character, similar to roles she had played on earlier sitcoms, and I'm sure those associated with "Sabrina" had that in mind when they first cast her as Hilda. I'm sure she could have pulled it off, but the more cerebral and idealistic Zelda probably fit Beth better. (She's been active in social and charitable work for many years, and was one of the co-founders of the Momentum AIDS Project -- which provides food to families of AIDS and HIV patients -- when she was an unknown, struggling actress in New York in the mid-eighties.)

I don't know if you're aware of this, but when "The Golden Girls" was first cast, Rue McClanahan and Betty White were initially set to play each other's characters, sort of extensions of the previous roles they had played on "Maude" and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," respectively. However, just to go against type, they switched parts -- with Rue playing the lusty Southern belle and Betty the naive one. The rest, of course, was sitcom history, now available on Lifetime several times a day.
