Does anyone think Cory is a little similar to Dee from "What's Happening!"? They both talk like adults eventhough they are kids. Also they are always ready to rat on their older sibling unless they get paid off to keep their mouths close.

I never watched Whats Happening so I wouldn't know but from what you say they do sound very similar.
