That was the name Florida used when talking to the Doctor. The Doctor kept saying-"YOU PEOPLE" and Florida said-"When You look in the Mirror who exactly do you see? Debbie Boone?

LOL-Funny.

Also why didn't Florida take Penny to the Emergency Room since she had a temp of 104?

Debby Boone had a big, big #1 hit single in 1977 called "You Light Up My Life". She's also the daughter of Pat Boone, an old whitebread singer from the 50s.

At the end of this episode, what is the thing that the doctor said JJ had? I know it starts with an M - she said "JJ has a serious case of m..." What is that? From the way the other cast members were laughing, I know that it was something that JJ didn't know.

The word was Ma-la-GAIN-ya (sp?). If you noticed the Doctor winked at Florida right before she checked out JJ, so that was probably some made up name just to mess with him.

She probably took her to the first place she could get to in a hurry. When someone is really sick, and you don't have the means of transportation to get them to the hospital. So you take them to the closest doctor, and if it's bad you hope they call an ambulance.

No telling how many buses and transfers Flo would have had to take to get Penny to the hospital at night in Chicago.

Florida never even made an attempt to call the ambulance

When JJ friend trying to commit suicide look at how long it took the ambulance to get to their apartment.

When Florida took Penny to the doctor at least the doctor could have given her something for her fever, And check her out.

Look at it this way, at least Florida took Penny to the doctor. If she wouldn't have then people would say that she should have, and she was neglecting Penny. You damned if you do you damned if you don't. Give the woman a point for trying.
