Default TV Land Producing 3-Part Special for Black History Month

TV LAND ENLISTS ACCLAIMED PRODUCTION TEAM
ON SCREEN ENTERTAINMENT AND TONYA LEWIS LEE TO CREATE
THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT!,
A UNIQUE THREE-PART SPECIAL IN
CELEBRATION OF BLACK HISTORY MONTH

Special Slated for February 2006 Features Spirited Debates About
Black Pop Culture and Entertainment

Santa Monica, CA, October 5, 2005 - TV Land has reached a production deal with On Screen Entertainment and Tonya Lewis Lee to produce a three-part special celebrating famous African Americans and their influence on pop culture entitled That's What I'm Talkin' About. TV Land will showcase the special in February in support of Black History Month.

Produced by On Screen Entertainment's Nikki Silver and Orly Wiseman (Miracle's Boys and Reading Rainbow) and Tonya Lewis Lee (Miracle's Boys and I Sit Where I Want: The Legacy of Brown v. Board of Education), That's What I'm Talkin' About will feature a variety of Hollywood notables and others as they debate the contributions that various African Americans have made to pop culture in a lively roundtable discussion. The series will also feature clips and images from dozens of iconic characters, television shows, movies and other forms of entertainment as panelists try to prove their case in a fast-paced, rapid fire exchange.

"TV Land is honored to enlist this highly talented production team of Tonya Lewis Lee, Nikki Silver and Orly Wiseman to create this groundbreaking series about the contributions African Americans have made to the world of entertainment," explains Mitch Semel, Senior Vice President, Original Programming, TV Land and Nick at Nite. "Our goal is to create innovative programming about the black experience on television that viewers will find fun and entertaining and this production team is the perfect partner to help us achieve that goal."

"I am thrilled to be working again with On Screen Entertainment and our new partner TV Land on this series of shows which honors the contributions of black entertainers and icons in a smart and engaging way," expressed Executive Producer Tonya Lewis Lee.

That's What I'm Talkin' About is poised to be a lively repartee in which panelists toss out opinions, anecdotes and nominations for their top choices on several trends, people, programs, fashion and music. Led by a panel moderator, each installment will tackle several fun groupings of topics such as "Movers, Shakers and Stylemakers" - covering everything from the growing popularity of athletes, to America's obsession with "the red carpet" - and "Mates, Dates and Greats" - covering everything from relationships of couples both on-and off-screen to the "best of" moments from a variety of topics.

Kind of sounds like the Inside TV Land: African Americans in Television. I enjoyed that special so this should be nice.
