Have you ever found yourself alone in the kitchen ...and suddenly break out singing "gonna stuff a chicken"

My 3 sons were forced to watch my favorite show the Golden Girls while they were growing up. Even though they always balked and made fun of me ....it still stuck with them.

A few years ago I had to have my mother put in a nursing home. When I called my oldest son to tell him the news , he calmly said "oh , so you're taking her to shady pines."

When my sister's daughter was 3 , one day out of the blue she said "what's sexy?" My sister asked her "where did you hear that word? "

Her reply "Blanche Deveroux"

Whenever my sister and I get together, the moment never passes without one or both of us quoting something from The Golden Girls... it wouldn't be a gathering if we didn't quote The Girls! It doesn't even have to have significance to the conversation at all, usually a quote will just come out of nowhere, and we never fail to laugh, as we always recognize the quote immediately!!!
