Default Why couldn't Barbara get a guy?

I find it hard to believe that cute Valerie Bertinelli was such a nerd that she had a hard time getting a boyfriend in school. Who wouldn't want to date her? The boys would have to be crazy!! Sooo unrealistic! Face it, the only reason why Julie got the guys was because she was outspoken, loud, troublemaking, and probably "easy" after the first season.

I'm sorry, but I saw it the opposite way.

What in the heck are you talking about? Just the other night she had two dates in the same night with Cliff and Bob! It may have seemed Julie got more boyfriends in the first couple of seasons because she was older that is all. But both had their share of boyfriends over the years!

Also from the second season, not in the boyfriend category, but in the attracted to category, that tape recorder stealing Luke Skywalker.

And Hank from "Barbara's emergence" even though he didn't really want to "date " her he wanted to "cut right to the chase". But he still counted as a guy that was attracted to Barbara!

But to be fair to cleverfun, there was one episode she got dumped for the very reason stated. Maybe even twice, if I could remember how Cliff disappeared.

And she was kissing that guy the other night at the door . The guy who Julie was supposed to go bowling with before she "fell in love " with the older guy, so she pushed the date unto Barbara . It seemed to go pretty well, ended in a good night kiss!!

Dialog from Bob Loves Barbara:

Bob: You know a lot of guys
Barbara: OK, so I know a lot of guys, so I go out a lot...

More proof Barbara Cooper could get a guy in high school.

Yeah, I saw your "I didn't like Roger" topic . You weren't supposed to like him, so I guess they did a good job?

The actor, btw, Ray Underwood, died at age 39. He was in an episode of your CHIPS, so maybe you remember him from there?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0534524/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_8

He was Terry, and to bring things around, the episode also featured Harvey Lembeck.

OH yeah!! As a matter of fact, I saw that ep about a week ago! I have Season 1 DVD! I posted about that somewhere on here about seeing Dad, Harvey on CHIPS!!!

I'm sorry about the Actor Ray Underwood dying so young. I didn't mean any disrespect, when I wrote I didn't like Roger. He was OK on CHIPS!

There are plenty of guys that wanted to date Julie more than Barbara.

The nuthouses are full of them.
