I've had Photoshop CS for about a month now and I've been practicing making blends and avatars using that program (One of my examples is my current avatar
I think it's one of my better ones though). However, I still feel like I don't even have the basic skills to make extraordinary graphics (I feel like I've jumped into things too quickly. Therefore some of my graphics are really crappy). Does anyone know any good sites that provides Photoshop tutorials? Or even if someone has lots of time on their hands, can one of you guys even provide a tutorial right here? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!

I wish I had the talent to write a tutorial out for you
but you'd look at me like "what am I supposed to do?!".I'd say Google it. The tutorial that I used was at least 3-4 years ago and is gone. |

How blends work is you must have various layers. Play around with your painting tools (pencil, brush, etc), and then use different blending options (color, screen, etc). And don't forget you can also adjust the percentage of that blending mode to adjust accordingly to your needs. Good luck!
