Default I Hate Coaches That Yell At Athletes

I be wanting to smack these coaches in their faces when i see them yell & scream at athletes especially Bobby Knight. I'd punch him in his jaw if he yelled at me. Bobby is the worst at yelling at players like that's gonna make them play better. Athletes don't respect coaches who yell at them. Tom Coughlin who coaches the New York Giants is another coach i dislike because he yells at his players. I can't think of any other coaches who yell at players. If ya'll know some, name them. Coaches need to realize that yelling & screaming at a player isn't gonna make a player play better. I saw this black guy who's a high school basketball coach i believe on MTV2 a few days ago yelling at these black guys & a asian dude who was trying to make the high school team. Then again this guy might be a college basketball coach in New York. All i know is that he was lookin for some guys to make his team to challenge some dudes from Chicago in a basketball game. The name of the program on MTV2 that i saw this dude is called King Of The Battlegrounds. I think that's the name of it. Lebron James was the host of it.

I disagree. If a coach yells at a player for no reason at all, then I have a problem with it, but with the way some of these athletes today act, I actually like it when a coach puts them in their place. I just wish Bobby Knight coached someone like Terrell Owens. I'm pretty sure Owens wouldn't act the way he does, if he had a coach like Knight. As far as players not respecting coaches who scream at them, I disagree with that as well. Bobby Knight gets more respect than any coach Iv'e ever seen. Iv'e never heard one of his players say anything bad about him. He damands respect!!

I agree with you. If Owens had played for Vince Lombardi, he'd be riding the bench.

Exactly!! I think one of the biggest problems with many of todays coaches, is that they try to be best buddies with their players. It's when a coach has no spine, and refuses to give discipline, when players don't respect them, not the other way around. Of the coaches that are around today, I think the coach of your team, (Bill Parcells) would be the perfect coach for T.O. There's no way he'd put up with his antics.

I don't see how any of Bobby Knight's former & present players don't have anything bad to say about him. He's a *******. He should've never been hired to coach again after Indiana University fired him.

I'm not saying that they've never said anything bad about him, I'm saying Iv'e never heard them say anything but positive things about him. He may be an *******, but whatever he does, it sure is effective. Btw, I'm not a big Bobby Knight fan, and can understand why someone might want to punch him in the face. He's been known to go off on people for no reason at all, so I really can't defend him. So I guess he wasn't a good example of someone who should coach a guy like T.O. With that said though, he does have the respect of most of his players.

I think Bobby Knight would be the perfect person to coach Terrell Owens because i know Terrell wouldn't be doing the dumb stuff he does if Bobby was yelling at him LOL.

I dont like it either.. What right does the idiotic coach have to yell at someone cause they dont do a good enough job!!

They are doing the BEST they can!!

If I played a sport and the coach yelled at me,I would tell him some choice words and leave!!

No one is gonna treat me like that!!
