Bea Arthur in "Mame" - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I haven't been seen that film "Mame" because it was a movie based on a Broadway musical of the same name. It stars Lucille Ball as Mame. But I do actually saw Bea Arthur as Vera Charles in that film. That what I saw in that film. Bea Arthur was in "Mame". The movie was released in around 1974.

Bea was also in the original Broadway cast, for which she won a Tony for her role. Angela Lansbury played Mame on Broadway, by the way.

Bea sure looked different in Mame with her black hair.It gave her a flashy appearance.

It is funny. I just posted about this movie on the Maude board. Was that Bea's real hair in the movie? I thought it was a wig.

it's her real hair in the play, but it's pretty obvious that's a wig in Mame the movie.
