Roseanne had some great Halloween episodes didn't they? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I can't think of another series that had so many different Halloween themed episodes - especially ones that were so well done.

I'm not a big fan of Halloween, but the episode when Darlene is pretending to choke a girl that she thought was going out with David was funny. Especially when Darlene pulled off her head. Another is the episode when Fred and Dan were caught in bed together by Roseanne. Dan said "We are what God made us" that cracked me up. You John Goodman can make anything funny. Later on in the show everyone walked into the kitchen with bald heads and Roseanne was freaking out. In the end she blew up the house with everyone in it. Roseanne wanted to have the last laugh.

The show had better h'ween eps than any other show. The best.

Halloween is supposedly Roseanne's favorite holiday, which is why she insisted on doing a new Halloween-themed episode each year.

One of the funniest was I think the original, where DJ opens the door and says (in the badly recorded voice) "Welcome to the Tun-nel of Ter-ror. Ha Ha Ha." Classic...

And seeing Jackie all messed up with her head on the platter in the table. I still laugh when I see it. The Simpsons have great Halloween episodes, but so does Roseanne!

I've only ever seen one halloween episode - the one where Roseanne dressed-up as a guy and then went out to a bar with Jackie and everyone there thought she was a real guy! That was a pretty funny episode. Dan was freaking out cos DJ wanted to dress as a witch and Darlene was wandering around with this monster hanging out of her stomach!

They all have really cool costumes aswell. I like the monster coming out of Darlene and Beckys trend of going as maimed people.
