Default Does anybody like Marie Wallace?

Marie is actually my favorite DS actress after Grayson Hall. I liked the oddball characters Marie played on the show. In a way, I could see her play Dr. Hoffman if Grayson Hall was not available.

Right now I'm watching DVD set 17 and she is back as Megan the antique store lady. Sadly, I think this is the last character she plays on the show. Doesn't she become a vampire and gets staked eventually?

I love it when Megan becomes a vampire. I think that was her best acting on the show. DVD set 19 has those episodes.

I can't wait to see them. Does she stay a vampire for awhile or do they immediately stake her in her coffin or something and she is off the show?

She lasts for about five episodes as the vampire.

This Marie Wallace was possibly scarey to Jack Klugman (she was in a play with him and he may have used the memory of her to get so scared in the Scrooge ep! Nancy Barrett was really the most talented Dark Shadows of all(and a beauty too)!

wonder what the next claim is???? i bet you're gonna say that John Forsythe was afraid of Kate Jackson so he never showed his face on "Charlie's Angels"..or better yet, how can you explain S.W.A.T.? after all, Steve Forrest was on S.W.A.T. and it was a spinoff of "The Rookies". and since former Dark Shadows star, Kate Jackson was on The Rookies and Steve Forrest was on a couple episodes of The Twlight Zone (the other 'horror show' as you called it)...i have to ask, which of those two do you think was more afraid of who?
see, i can make up ludicrous crap, too. the difference here is, i can say i made it up. you make out that all you say is true.

Bry, Mathew Hall was quoted as saying (in a DS book) he thought Frid might be a vampire. Alda said on a talk show that he was scared of Maguire!
And note I said Wallace was possibly scarey to Klugman! Possibly---I repeat! As a Stanislavsky method actor (Klugman) he would think of something that frightened him so he'd act real scared on OC in the Scrooge ep and having previously worked with Wallace and possibly knowing she was on the vampire soap maybe he thought of her to get scared! Again--possible! As for Charlie's Angels not Forsythe (but hey its possible your suggested bit) I could believe Fawcett was scared of Jackson (knowing Jackson could play it so spooky on DS) and wanted out of CA for that reason! I don't say for sure she did but it's possible! I'm human too! By the grace of God can you respect my feelings? Please don't hate me! I don't hate you!

Farrah Fawcett wanted out of Charlie's Angels because she was afraid of Kate Jackson?????? OMG that is a new one.

I remember clearly her reasons for wanting out of CA's so bad, and the hoopla and the whole legal issues that came abt because of her wanting out of the show which had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH HER FEAR OF KATE JACKSON.

see, i made up that "suggestion" about Kate Jackson and Charlie's Angels and he can say that it might be possible. ...
see, he can believe anything. or make it up.

dude, i don't hate you. i have no reason to hate you. you must be a liberal because everytime a person disagrees with a liberal, they retaliate by accussing that person of hatred.
can't i respect your feelings? that makes no sense unless you actually believe the roles that people play on tv or in movies is who they are in real life. and if you do that, you wouldn't deserve my respect..you would deserve my pity.

back to tv...ok, you suggest that Alda says he was afraid of Michael Macguire because he was the warlock Judah Zachary on Dark Shadows..then why not accuse Alda of being afraid of Keene Curtis? Curtis was not only one one episode of M*A*S*H (just like Macguire), but Curtis was ALSO the voice of Judah Zachary.
while we are at it, what about the cast of CHEERS? Macguire was on CHEERS briefly. are we to believe it was briefly because everyone was afraid of him? Keene Curtis was also on CHEERS numerous times. are we then to believe that his character stayed upstairs in his restaurant all the time (as opposed to the bar down below) because the cast was afraid of him, too?
while we are at it, Macguire and Curtis were both on episodes of the Wonder Woman tv show back in the '70s. does that mean that the show lasted only three seasons because the cast and crew didn't like having "scary" men on the set?

dude, if Alan Alda said he was afraid of Macguire, i am sure he didn't mean that he was afraid that Macguire was gonna pull a knife out on him or anything. or throw a curse.
Alda likley meant that Macguire had a scarey presence. some people just carry themselves in a way to make another person feel awkward in their presence. that i NOT the same thing as fear.
