Default Off Topic--Talking about politics...

Talking about pollitical subjects, currents events or anything that is not even remotely connected to the show Good Times , will not be accepted. I told acouple of members here NOT to discuss political matters (that had absolutely nothing to do with this show, the characters, or the actors, etc, etc.) that were not related to Good Times and I was ignored..the next time that happens, I will delete your posts...

Thanks

I agree with you.

In fact on the thread I was trying to avoid getting goaded into a political debate but as I thought comments were outrageous I felt I was forced into a position to react. But if you read the thread I was clearly deflecting comments. I realize my handle itself might cause discussion.

THat said I have been posting here a while and the issue of politics never came up with the handle. Until this particular thread. and the poster GeeBee having strong political beliefs the other way feebly tried to get under my skin for no other reason but because my handle got under his/her skin.

Anyway I love you all dearly and talking politics on a "TVSHOW" message board is simply murder on my Lip Gloss.

Thank Yau.

Well said GWB...it is hard sometimes to just let things "go" when one is being accused, etc. of things. just the part of us that wants to defend ourselves.

And, I completely understand that, but there is a rule on this board not to discuss such matters unless it is on the appropriate area; the next time any of you want to talk about politics (unless it is a political matter that is similar or connected to the show Good Times) PLEASE, take your conversations to the PM (private messaging)..thanks
