Well first off, why won't your parents let you get the DVD's?

Sorry I couldn't help giggling, but you remind me of myself-- my parent know NOTHING of my obsession. I usually just purchase the DVDs at Walmart and if they see it, they see it *shrug*

Try convincing them about how much you love the show. They may just give up and let you get 'em!

My mom & grandma both don't know how great it it to have your favorite shows on DVD.I tried convincing them that they could watch their favorite shows whenever they want and even get to watch them when the channel takes it off the air. They say "Oh well. It's not the end of the world."At least my dad knows that it's great to have shows on DVD.

PS:Season 1 only costs $11.00 or less while the rest will be $35-$40

That's exactly the same with me. My dad LOVES the show too, so if I didn't get the dvds he'd probably get them for himself lol

Why wouldn't you want them to se you buying the DVDs? The next time you go to the store with them and you see any Three's Company DVDs, I think you should ask your parents if you can get one. Tell them you really love the show and you would like to have it on DVD. If they ask why after you tell them that, explain to them how having the episodes on DVD is benefit--there are extras, and best of all, the episodes are uncut (tell them that Nick @ Nite and TV Land cut the episodes)! If you tell them this, then they will see that you really do like the show, and they will probably have no problem in letting you purchase the DVDs.

Default Wal Mart

If there is a Wal Mart near you check the $5.50 "dump bin." I actually found a copy of Season One in there!! The greatest part was the $10 rebate if you buy two Seasons of Three's Company (since Season 4 was released). Because of this I actually made a profit on buying Season One ($4.50)!
