What's your favorite standout episode from Buffy?
Mine would have to be The Body. It was so real and very dramatic for the show to do. I never expected Joss to add something like that to the show. He did it perfectly IMO. |

all great episodes, but I chose Surprise/Innocense because to me, that was when the show really catapulted itself to the next stratosphere.

OMWF almost got my vote, just because the writing was so perfect and the ep was so well done, but OMWF was still a gimmick episode (albeit a *really* well done one.) |

I loved Surprise/Innocense for the whole Bangel aspect of it but I thought the most memorable episode was The Body. It was such a shock factor to have a none demon death and to loose such a loved character!! Anya's speach was so touching

I liked Hush a lot, but I had to vote for Once More With Feeling because of all the hard work it had to take and for the shear "balls" it took to do.

Once More With Feeling is easily the most brilliant episode of television ever.

I had to go for Hush because having acted and written a couple scenes in drama where we weren't allowed to talk, I can apprectiate how hard it is to act (and especially write!) something like that.

Season Two's "Passion." I think it just might be my favorite episode of the entire series. "Becoming I and II" are also really awesome.

"The Body" is the finest hour of television I have ever seen. This episode captured the stark reality of losing a loved one. From beginning to end, this episode is truly amazing, with phenomenal performances by Sarah Michelle Gellar and Emma Caulfield.
