Thumbs up

all of roseanne's shows were unique and fantastic in their own right. but my favorite all time episode has got to be the pms episode! it touched everyone.....male and female in one way or another. after the first season and she gained more control over the production of the show.........she touched us all with her unique insight into how life really works in the real world.....not twenty minutes of what hollywood thinks is reality.

I like the birth control episode...Howmany people have gone to a relative to ask for birth control and then have to face their mother. The look on BEcky's face is classic when she says, "I think it's time i get some birth control," which is followed by equally classic looks from Roseanne AND Jackie, who's "Isn't it great Roseanne?" comment still kepps me laughing!

My favorite is the episode where Becky "cuts the cheese" in front of the whole student council. After she gets home, Becks sits on the couch, sulking. Darlene arrives home shortly afterward, and comes in through the kitchen. She sees Becky sitting on the sofa. Darlene gets a devilish look on her face, and begins to torture Becky about the incident......Later, in the bedroom, Roseann tries to comfort Becky and to get her to laugh...Roseann says "At least nobody got hurt". I LMAO whenever I see this episode.

I love the scene from where Roseanne and Jackie's Father dies and Jackie is talking to Annie Barber. That one just kills me. Also, the end of the episode where Jackie finds out they won the lottery and the opening of the next episode where she goes over to Roseanne's and Roseanne comes out without a shirt on and they start acting crazy, I died laughing at that too!!!

Default fav episodes

Hey all, This is my first post, but I've been a huge fan for years...

I'd have to say my favourite episodes include the Bowling one in the first season, and definately the one where Dan and Roseanne have Chip's parents over for dinner.. Some great lines in there for us blue collar types in the face of sophistication

Also, I have to agree that the part in the episode where Roseanne's dad dies when Jackie is on the phone is pure hilarity, but I think the person she was talking to was called Auntie Barbara... It must have been a relative, by the way she was talking, and it sounds like "Auntie"...

Well I can't pick just one episode as a favourite since I simply love this show totally until the Becky change, then it just wasnt really the same after that. Anyway one of my favs is where Bev has sex and breaks her hip.........one of the best lines on the show when Red Buttons says....."Her nickname is Craftmatic Adjustable Bev"........lmao.... and the look on Bev's face when Fred tells her that he knows how she really hurt herself is priceless!

as far as early episodes go i love the one where becky and her friend get drunk off roseanne and dan's liquor cabinet. that one was a riot i thought. then the episode where jerry garcia comes to her in a dream was really special. to alot of people it was probably just stupid but being the season following jerry's death they had to do something to recognize him, and it was awesome. oh yeah, and gotta love in that episode how they played not fade away at the end, a great sitcom tribute to an icon.

My favorite episode is The Miracle because I love David and Darlene and this is probably the most important episode that happened between them. I also just love the drama and there are some really good quotes. This is just from memory, but here is a good one.

David: I hate to admit, but it took me a while to get used to the idea of being a father, and now that I am, I want it more than anything in the world.
