Default I Miss Hearing Deion Sanders Talk On NFL Today

I can't believe he came outta retirement to play for the sorry ass Ravens hahahahahahahahahahahaha. I miss hearing him talk in the CBS studio on Sundays on NFL Today with Dan Marino & Boomer Esiason. Shannon Sharpe doesn't have the same charisma & likable personality that Deion has. Deion needs to come back to NFL Today & get his job back. I hate it when athletes come outta retirement wasting their time when they're washed up. Deion had a good thing going with NFL Today. I heard he left the show because of contract issues. How much damn money does he want? I'm sure he was getting paid good.

I thought I read somewhere that he and Boomer didn't get along and his leaving was a mutual situation.

Yeah, I do miss Deion in the studio. I use to always like to see what he was wearing each week. If you ask me, I think that was racist on CBS part for replacing Deion with another token black on the show.

You got a point GarfieldKool about CBS replacing Deion with another token black guy.

I like watching NFL Countdown on ESPN on Sunday mornings because of Michael Irvin. Michael is a likable guy. I like most of the comments he says. Tom Jackson isn't that bad either. Chris Berman & Steve Young are boring.

I'll agree that Young is boring, but Chris Berman? I disagree.

Chris Berman is funny, but Steve Young don't do anything for me. Though Chris Berman can get repetitive.

I have a great idea, CBS should replace the whole show with as you say token blacks, then you won't think CBS is racist anymore. Better yet maybe the NFL could have ALL token white players instead of the majority of the players being black then it won't be racist either.

What the hell are you talking about?! Don't try to throw this back at me, because it won't work. I gave my opinion, so let it rest.

Then don't try to start an argument with me. I am going by I see. Just because you don't see what I see does not mean you have to challenge it. And Shannon Sharpe is a token black guy. They could have got any qualified person to replace Deion. I am not saying Shannon Sharpe isn't qualified, but it looked to me like any black person was a legitimate replacement for Deion.

I think Shannon Sharpe does a great job. He's well informed and tells it like it is at times. Btw, who would have been your pick to replace Deion? Just curious.. not trying to start a fight.

I don't know, to be honest with you. But Shannon Sharpe like you said does a great job.

I'm just glad ESPN finally hired a black guy who is not LOUD, and GOOFY. That guy is College Football Analyst, Mark May. Very Intelligent well spoken black man who is nothing like Michael Irvin.

Oh Tom Jackson is ok. I forgot about him. I just didn;t like that David Aldrige was let go by ESPN

Didn't Mark May used to do Sunday night games back when half of them were on TNT or TBS? They used to split the season with ESPN. I thought Verne Lundquist was on there also.

Anyway, I think Sharpe is horrible. He is good at talking crap, but not as one of the 4 regular members, he should just have a special segment maybe. Neon left because he demanded more money and they wouldnt pay it, at least that is what I remember. I thought he wanted like twice what they were paying him.

He should go back to TV, we need Sanders Claus back to do some Ho-Ho-Hoing.
