Default Watching this show again for the first time in 15 years, i remember now who was funny

and who wasn't funny. It was half and half. Out of the 6 characters, 3 were funny and the other 3 were not

3 Funny Characters

Deacon Frye
Rolly
Thelma

3 Characters that were not Funny

Ameila
The Other Woman-can't think of her name
Rubuen

Poor Clifton Davis, he was dull in everything he played in-lol

Rolly was the best! Deacon is also funny. Thelma was okay, I did not think Reuben was funny at all, and Cassietta. Amelia (the heavier sister) was funnier than Cassietta, but not too funny. Everything was "Thank you, sister", "That's right, sister" "You said it, sister" (back and forth to one another).

I've only seen a few episodes with Rosetta Lenoire's character who played Rolly's new wife, but I don't remember if she was that funny, or if she was like Mama Maybelle/ Mother Winslow. Probably a little less than them, but I guess she was always mad with Deacon, I am assuming, because her character always gave a hard time to Nell and Carl on the other shows she was on.

Inga, the housekeeer, was a tad bit funny, but not much. She reminded me of Mrs. Doubtfire, a little.
