Happy 45th anniversary of "The Flintstones"

Tuesday september 30th 1960 celebrate the first air of the William Hanna/Joseph Barbera animated sitcom series "The Flintstones" air on ABC. The episode is "The Flintstone Flyer", but the second that producing (after "The Swimming Pool" aired two weeks later). Alan Reed as the voice of our national Yabba-Dabba-Doo man Fred Flintstone, Bea Benaderet voices as Wilma Flintstone and Mel Blanc voices Fred's long-time Arthur Rubble. This series are the first animated show aired in primetime, 30 years before The Simpsons and aired in syndication starting 1963. The original series ended in 1966 after six seasons but that's not finish so much. In 1972, the French-Canadian channel Radio-Canada air the series but dubbed made in Québec with the voice of Paul Berval (Fred Flintstone), Denise Proulx (Wilma), Claude Michaud (Barney Rubble) and Monique Miller (Betty), long-time know like air everynoon in a concurrent broadcasting channel during 10+ years.

Meanwhile, Hanna/Barbera team releaesd in 1971 the Peebles & Bam-Bam show, the show during one season. After, a bunch of Flintstones spoof TV shows air between 1977 and 1981. The career early finish in 1989 with a kiddie version of The Flintstones, The Flintstones Kids.

For the first time in 1994, the irreverent Flintstones are back but in a live-action movie starring John Goodman, Rick Moranis and Rosie O'Donnel and a pre-quel of the current movie release in 2000.
