Default Gary Coleman

Am I the only one who thinks that he should have been a regular on the show? The two times he appeared, he cracked me the hell up. I think the episodes with him are my favorite GT episodes. He really made me laugh.

I agree. I laughed my A** off everytime he was on. Another great thing was how the audience seemed to get worked up and hyper when he was on screen. The show seemed to have a lot of energy in those scenes.

I don't know about being a regular, but yeah I wish they had a few more eps with him on there. He cracked me up too.

whoooo psychic stuff around here...I was just ready to post a thread abt this. He was hilarious. When he was this young he was. He wasn't hilarious in Diff. Strokes, in my opinion. I like how he was here and in the Jeffersons. Willona should have ADOPTED HIS ASS INSTEAD OF PENNY'S!!!!!

Your scaring me again, I had just thought about if Willona would have adopted Gary instead of Penny. Y'all are right about the energy the audience put out when Gary was on, it was more lively. Penny already was kinda bland, but her doing a scene with Gary, I almost felt sorry for her cause she would just stand there with her arms crossed and didn't bring nothing to the scene. Seemed like all the focus was on Gary.

Another thought, if ever there was a kid that needed to be abused, it was Gary instead of Penny, with his smart mouth and attitude. be cool , just an innocent comment

He couldn't make anymore guess apperances because the two Times he appeared on Good Times, it was enough for Norman Lear to give him his own show. So i guess he was that good that Norman said-"I gotta get this young man his own show"

He appeared on both the Jeffersons and Good Times in the Spring of 78, and started his show in the Fall of 78 before making one last apperance on Good Times in Sept or October of 78.
