Default Would you include a cell phone number and email address on your resume?

I have been noticing a lot of mistakes on resumes that come inside the agency lately and I personally don;t think a email address needs to be on a resume. When has a employer ever emailed someone that they wanted ti interview? And I think a regular phone number should be on the resume. Anyone agree?

I agree about the email thing, but alot of people today don't have a LAN line, only cell phones b/c it's cheaper. That's what my sister does. Her and her husband each have a cell phone and that's it.

I HAVE to. That is, include my email address. I don't own a cell phone; my mom does. If I really must, I put down my mom's cell # and tell her to watch for messages. I don't have a land line- haven't owned one since 2003. Therefore, they would have better luck contacting me via email.

If they left a message on the machine, 9 times out of 10 they would check it before me and I'd never get it. I don't even use the land line at my house anymore... i'm all cell phone baby!

Exactly. I would rather put too many ways to contact me, than not enough and miss the opportunity.

I put them both on my resume. I put the email because actually, a lot of the applications I've filled out ask for. I've gotten rejected by email before.

As for the phone, I put both numbers so that they can get ahold of me 24/7. Plus, some people don't have a home phone, just a cell.
