One small problem I had with Alderman Davis - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Every time he appeared on the show, it was always election time. It was like an Alderman had an election every year. That was weak by the writers.

Alderman in Chicago are elected every 4 years and it was election time at least twice on the show.

The only election episodes I remember are from season 3 and season 4

Not true, in Florida Gets a Job, he was in an election year. He even had JJ paint a campaign poster for him.

In That's entertainment, Evans style, Willona made mention that it was an election year.
