i JUst got a new puter with windows xp i used have windows me, Can anyone tell me how i CAN CONVERT my old files that saved while using windowd me to work with windows xp

what kind of files?

what files / programs are you talking about?

have you tried to copy the files onto cd and read them from your new computer?

it shouldn't matter what opearating system you are on though.. save them to a disk and move them to your new PC.

what file format are they in? what program do you open them in?

are they text files? Word processor/spreadsheet/database files? can you take a screenshot of the file on your old computer?
