I really liked that episode and I'm also a big Johnny Cash fan. However, it's been so long since I saw it, I don't even remember him singing any songs. I'll have to revisit that episode.

The Collection aired Sept. 27, 1976
Reverend Alden gets sick while collecting donations. Caleb Hodgekiss, an ex-convict, helps the Reverend by giving him a place to stay and volunteering to get the donations from Walnut Grove. Caleb poses as a friend of the Reverend so that he might get donations which he initially planned to keep for himself. The closing hymn was "In the Garden". It was sung off-camera by June Carter Cash (as Mrs. Foster). Black Jack David and My Bonnie" - sung by Johnny Cash Hope this helps |
