Default "Who you'd be today"

The song is "Who You'd be Today" by Kenny Chesney. It is a VERY new song and the first time i heard it first thing that came to my mind was...my cousin but then i thought of John. I don't know ALL the words but it goes soemthing like this:

It ain't fair you died too young like a story that had just begun. The death tore the pages all the say. God knows how i miss you..all the hell that ive been through....Somethimes i wonder, who youd be today.

Thats all i know of the song but it still goes on about how "you" died too young what what it would be like if you were still alive. I know quite a lot of people who died too young and it touches me very deeply.

Oh my gosh, that is soooo sad!! I'll have to download that and listen to it. Thanks for letting us know about that. You said pretty much everything I was planning on saying! It touches me too when people die young, I've known some people who have, like my aunt and one of my close friends who was only 13. So I know how you feel.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep,
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints in the snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle Autumn's rain,
When you awaken in the mornings hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die

RIP 4ever sweet angel. :

yes it is true I now know all the words to the chorous finally Here it is:

It aint fair you died to young like a story that had just begun.
The death tore the pages all the way.
God knows how i miss you.
All the hell that ive been through.
Just knowing noone can take your place.
Sometimes i wonder who you'd be today

The line that is bold is the one that hits me the hardest and its the one i forgot before.

ok then never mind about the last post. i just found ALL the lyrics...

Sunny days seem to hurt the most
Wear the pain like a heavy coat
I feel you everywhere I go
See your smile, I see your face
I hear you laughing in the rain
Still can't believe your gone

(Chorus
It ain't fair you died to young
Like a story that had just begun
But death tore the pages all away
God knows how I miss you
All the hell that I've been through
Just knowing, no one could take your place
Sometimes I wonder, who you'd be today

Would you see the world
Would you chase your dreams
Settle down with a family
I wonder what would you name your babies
Someday's the sky's so blue
I feel like I can talk to you
And I know it might sound crazy

(Chorus)

Today [3x]
Today [3x]

Sunny days seem to hurt the most
I wear the pain like a heavy coat
The only thing that gives me hope
Is I know, I'll see you again someday

Someday, someday
